    • Transactions – Evolutios’ head of transactions has been an investor for more than 10 years, being involved in more than 30 purchase- and sales transactions in Norway as well as internationally. As an investor, he was also involved in post merger integration and monitoring, both operationally and from a management position to secure planned value creation. Extensive experience from both successful and less successful acquisitions, enables authentic and realistic advice and recommendations, focusing on industrial rationale and value creation, instead of solely focusing on the transaction. As an investor, he has been involved in the valuation of more than 400 companies. This provides insight and understanding for what is important for potential buyers and how to best prepare companies for sale, while structuring the sales process to ensure highest possible value.

    • Valuations – Evolutio’s head of valuations has a broad valuation experience ranging from technical valuations for accounting and tax purposes to practical valuations for investment purposes. He has experience in disputes in the District Court and the Court of Appeal, has been an equity analyst in Pareto Securities and has used valuations as an important tool in making investment decisions in Herkules Capital.

    • Improvement Projects - Our experienced staff have completed a large number of improvement projects and therefore has an unique implementation expertise to offer clients. Evolutio handpicks people with direct relevant experience for each improvement project.

    • Management for hire – Our experience is that many companies know what they would like to do and have their ideas planned out, but that the challenge is implementation, capacity and expertise. Instead of offering a large consultancy team we offer operational people who can sit with the client to implement the strategies.

    • Executive search – We have experienced how important it is to find the right person at the right time and place, and how much this impacts the value creation and the implementation capability of a company.     Jostein has been involved in acquiring, developing, integrating and selling a number of companies within his previous roles in Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, Pareto Securities, Ferd Equity Partners and Herkules Capital. He has extensive experience as a discussion partner to the CEO and CFO on strategic issues and has himself experience as CFO and Vice President Business Development. Jostein has in depth knowledge in a number of improvement projects, transactions, valuations, financing and accounting. He has extensive board experience and currently serves the board of Espresso House AB, Funktionell Musik AB, Tilbords AS, New Store Europe AS and Mack Ølbryggerier AS.

    Simon has extensive experience within growth strategy, operational improvement projects and M&A from leading consulting firms. Simon has experience as a discussion partner for CEOs, COOs and sales directors, and extensive operational know-how from positions such as interim CEO, business developer, business manager, key account manager, project manager and marketer. Among other things, Simon has experience from Orkla Foods Innovation Board and has been responsible for the cooperation and annual negotiations with NorgesGruppen for Orkla Foods.

    Janne Britt Saltkjel

    Associate Partner

    Janne has more than 20 years’ experience from strategic andoperational risk management, internal control, compliance and sustainability, of which about half from the financial sector (DNB, Nordea, investment banks and asset managers).
    She has built compliance, risk and ESG functions for twostock listed companies (Multiconsult, Mercell). As consultant in the “Big 4”, Janne has helped a number of companies improve their internal control, and
    implement risk management and regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on ESG
    and financial sector regulations. She has also gained substantial experience
    from due dills and acquisition processes.
